My name is Jocelyn Viray and I am a tattoo artist based in the Bay Area.
Art has always been my favorite subject in school. I would doodle on my homework, tests, progress reports, hall passes, you name it.
Once it was time to pick something to study for college, I knew I wanted to study art in some way. After touring San Jose State University and looking into their art program, I was enticed by graphic design because I believed it would give me new skills to improve and develop my drawings and designs.
I was accepted into the Graphic Design Program at San Jose State University in 2016. Throughout my time here, I have learned valuable lessons about the basic principles of design as well as introspective lessons about myself as a designer. Since then, I have graduated cum laude from San Jose State University majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising.
